This volume goes over the scientific evidence, including the 25 January 1938 "Fatima Storm" on which the international scientific journal Nature reported.
ch. 10 (ref:20.1) is on the "miracle of the sun," which is interesting in the context of St. Thomas's teaching that freewill can act contrary to the influence of the stars (cf. Litt ch. 8, which cites 40 passages from St. Thomas supporting human freewill against corporeal influences!; cf. iatromathematics).
The "miracle of the sun" is truly a miracle because the seers were not troubled by the sun's influence to such a degree that they acted contrary to reason.
