Not without reason do we quote this work so repeatedly. It is noteworthy that in certain circles little attention has been paid to it. It is the fruit of a lifetime of meditation and labor; it is one of the best, perhaps the very best treatise on gracethat has appeared since the great works of the Thomists of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
