Description

Dominic J. Unger, O.F.M. Cap., The Mystery of Love for the Single :

St. John Chrysostom (d. 407) was the apostle of virginity in the East, as St. Ambrose was in the West. He is known especially for his treatise On Virginity[ De Virginitate, c. 381AD] (after A.D. 376), which is a masterful explanation of 1 Corinthians 7.

EPUB is a DeepL Pro NMT machine English translation, which is a hand-edited work-in-progress, intended to be a public domain edition of St. John's De virginitate. Sally Ann Shore's translation is much better than this machine-translated one.
