Title: The Little Office of the BVM
Post by: Br. Raymundo of Peñafort on June 23, 2016, 07:36:15 PM
Does anybody know where a version of the the Little Office of the BVM Dominican rite can be found? I am particularly searching for one that has the added prayers to St. Mary Magdalen and St. Catherine of Sienna in it at vespers.

The Church Music Association of America has a nice scan of the Libellus Precum ad usum fratrum S. ordis prædicatorem (https://isidore.co/calibre/browse/book/2890). The Officium B. Mariæ Virginis begins on p. 9. I didn't see any prayer within vespers to St. Catherine or St. Mary Magdalen, but there is a separate Oratio ad S. Catharinam Senensem on p. 141.

This appears to be the English translation: http://www.saintmichaelarchangel.com/Office.html

Also, there's Angelus Press's bilingual Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Office of the Dead (http://angeluspress.org/little-office-of-the-blessed-virgin-mary) (270 pp.) and Baronius Press's bilingual The Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary (5th ed.) (https://www.baroniuspress.com/book.php?wid=56&bid=47) (236 pp.).
