Hi, everyone
What do you think of the English historian Christopher Dawson?
I know he wasn't exactly a Thomist but did he wrote from the perspective of the Catholic orthodoxy and the Church's perennial philosophy?
I heard he was an "ecumenist" and that he was sometimes sympathetic to humanism, for example. Was his ecumenism contrary to pre-Vatican II Church doctrine?
Thank you!
Pedro

Geremia, thank you for your answer! That's him!
Timothy Flanders of The Meaning of Catholic would recommend Christopher Dawson's writing as a source of history.
