Amen! And the first canonized saint in the Americas.

What I really like about her story is that it illustrates one saint (St. Catherine of Siena) influencing another and how books can be life-changing. From the biography by Sr. Mary Alphonsus, O.SS.R.:

Also, Brazilian 3D designer Cícero Moraes has done a very neat forensic facial reconstruction of St. Rose of Lima, based upon her actual relics:
