[ 0 → 4] Tradcast Express [ 4 → 14] Tradcast Express, it's Friday, June 16th, 2017. [ 15 → 21] Francis wants you to make friends with members of all religions. [ 21 → 30] The so-called Elijah Interfaith Institute has launched a campaign to bring people of different religions together [ 30 → 35] in order to overcome negativity and divisions in society. [ 35 → 43] The effort has received the official endorsement and encouragement of 22 prominent leaders of numerous religions, [ 43 → 51] including representatives of Protestantism, Judaism, Islam, Sikhism, Hinduism, Buddhism, [ 52 → 56] and, of course, everybody's favorite, Pope Francis. [ 57 → 58] Because you know how it is. [ 58 → 60] As long as there's something here... [ 60 → 64] If there's something happening that's not Catholic, Francis is all for it. [ 64 → 69] So he made a video together with his buddy, the Talmudic Rabbi Abraham Skorka, [ 69 → 73] and both of them spoke about their interreligious friendship. [ 73 → 80] And Francis took great pride in pointing out that neither of the two has attempted to convert the other. [ 80 → 81] I believe that. [ 82 → 86] Now this video, along with clips from each one of the other religious leaders, [ 86 → 90] has now been released, and the Interfaith Institute also published, [ 90 → 94] a video montage of highlights from all of these clips together. [ 94 → 97] And the core message of everybody is, [ 97 → 101] make friends with members of other religions. [ 102 → 106] Now, as you can probably imagine, we have quite a bit to say about that. [ 106 → 110] And you can read our coverage of all this on our blog, [ 110 → 118] posted just today at the Novos Ordo Wire at novosordowatch.org slash wire. [ 118 → 119] The post is entitled, [ 120 → 128] Guru Rabbi Mufti Pope, Francis Joints Campaign for Pan-Religious Friendship. [ 129 → 133] In other news, Father Paul Robinson of the Society of St. Pius X [ 133 → 136] has written a new propaganda piece for Lefavrians. [ 137 → 143] It's basically a theological justification of an SSPX rapprochement with the modernist Vatican. [ 144 → 149] And it is full of theological absurdities, equivocation, and distortions. [ 149 → 149] It's full of theological absurdities, equivocation, and distortions. [ 150 → 154] We demonstrate this in a substantial refutation of Father Robinson's essay, [ 154 → 157] which we published on our blog this past Monday. [ 158 → 162] In his article, Father Robinson calls Francis a modernist pope, [ 162 → 169] and says that traditionalists don't need to have strict unity of faith with the vicar of Christ. [ 170 → 177] He also claims that papal acts are valid only insofar as they serve the interests of Jesus Christ. [ 177 → 179] And he argues that the pope need not convert, [ 180 → 183] to doctrinal traditionalism first, [ 183 → 186] a term that he leaves conveniently undefined. [ 187 → 192] In any case, our refutation exposes all this for the anti-Catholic sophistry that it is, [ 192 → 194] so make sure you check it out. [ 194 → 195] Our post is entitled, [ 195 → 201] The SSPX and Pope Francis, Theological Absurdistan on Full Display. [ 202 → 205] You can find that also at the Novus Ordo Wire. [ 205 → 210] Just look for the entry by that name, dated June 12, 2017. [ 210 → 212] To make matters worse, [ 212 → 219] Father Robinson is Professor of Dogmatic Theology at the SSPX's Holy Cross Seminary in Australia, [ 219 → 225] and his essay was approved for publication by the SSPX headquarters in Menzingen, Switzerland. [ 226 → 232] So, that right there says a lot about what kinds of ideas are taught in the seminaries [ 232 → 236] of this supposed last bastion of Catholic tradition.
