Description
The four Latin volumes of the Sacrae Theologiae Summa have been called "the best summary of Scholastic Theology available." And now they are being translated into English in eight volumes for students by Father Kenneth Baker, S.J. This is the third volume and it covers two main treatises. The first is "On The Incarnate Word" - The Mystery of the Incarnation of Christ and the work He did in order to save us. The second is "On the Blessed Virgin Mary" - the science of Mariology. A Must for Every Serious Student of the Faith! **
n. 235 has a missing/untranslated sentence: "at least Catholic doctrine, unless it may be regarded as of faith by the ordinary magisterium" (source)
PDF pp. 247ff. are on the adorability of the Sacred Heart.
re: Mater Populi Fidelis, cf. p. 446 (PDF p. 458): "That the title of Corredemptrix is used rightly is certain; and it is not licit to doubt about its suitability." "Theologically certain" is the 5th degree in Cartechini's scheme of theological notes, "Effects of denial: Mortal sin against faith." (🎩 tip: Fr. LaLiberté's Rorate Cæli op-ed).
