General Discussion / Liturgy changes after VCII
Last post by CArnaud - August 21, 2023, 09:52:33 AM
Greetings,

I'm talking a Liturgy class and I was wondering if any of you could recommend a book that summarizes the history of the celebration of the Mass, preferably the history of liturgical changes and the meaning of each part as it was introduced.

Thanks in advance.

Blessings!

St. Alphonsus, La vera sposa di Gesù Cristo, cites S. Bernardus, epist. 111, n. 3:
Quotegustato spiritu, desipit omnis caro
"The spiritual tasted, all flesh is insipid."
[or:] "When one tastes the spiritual, all flesh becomes tasteless."
