"To publish Catholic journals and place them in the hands of honest men is not enough. It is necessary to spread them as far as possible that they may be read by all, and especially by those whom Christian charity demands we should tear away from the poisonous sources of evil literature." –Pope St. Pius X

Geremia

I can understand why Our Blessed Mother is the model for all contemplatives and how she was able to stand firmly at the foot of the Holy Cross. I-II q. 38 a. 4 ("Whether pain and sorrow are assuaged by the contemplation of truth?") co.:
Quotein contemplatione veritatis maxima delectatio consistit.
He mentions the martyr St. Tiburtius, who "nudatis plantis super ardentes prunas incederet, dixit, 'Videtur mihi quod super roseos flores incedam, in nomine Iesu Christi.'"!

This should give all "φιλοἀλήθειας" much hope! It shows that no matter how much we are going to suffer (and we certainly are going to suffer much more as this modernist apostasy keeps escalating), our love of truth will turn the suffering into great joy! (St. Thérèse famously said she can no longer suffer because all suffering is a joy to her!)

I love how today's Mass's Epistle is from the Book of Judith, my favorite Old Testament prefiguration of Our Blessed Mother (∵ Judith uses her beauty for good), because it shows Our B.V.M. is a strong woman (à la Prov. 31:10-31) and that her sorrows are not a sign of weakness, a misconception that used to turn me off from devotion to her sorrows:

QuoteJudith 13:22; 13:23-25
